I’m not sure what building this is but it reminded me of the cell shaded graphics in a computer game called Crackdown. The orange glow on the building is from the sun set which was taking place behind me.

It’s been a really slow week this week, with little opportunity to get out and shoot. We went out two nights ago for a walk along the Clyde in Glasgow and I thought it would be a good opportunity to use my 50mm 1.8 Canon lens to get some nice warm images since the sun was setting and the sky was a lovely warm colour. I tried to make this uninteresting looking lifebelt more interesting looking. Not sure I managed to do so but I like the softness of it none-the-less.
I’m hoping to get out more this week especially with the weather in Scotland being so good lately. I’m also extremely frustrated because I’m not out shooting as much as I’d like to be. Anyway, thanks for looking.

The sun setting over Faslane Naval Base (not pictured). Was quite a challenging location where we had stopped the cars to take shots of the base. There was so much shit lying around as it was a layby and drivers were dumping stuff on the verges. Managed to find a spot on the site of the embankment from where I could catch a good view of the sunset uninterrupted from the trees to the right and the tires lying to the left.

I revisited the old Torpedo and Naval testing range on Loch Long while the weather was nice.
