Bud Lucky
William “Bud” Luckey (born in 1934) is an American cartoonist, animator, singer, musician, and composer. He is best known for his work at Pixar as a character designer for Toy Story, Boundin’, Toy Story 2, A Bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Cars, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille. He is also beloved by generations of Sesame Street viewers for his numerous short animated films on that program.

Hey mate, there was a digital festival on in Dundee this weekend past called NEoN. Some big names were there including Adobe and Microsoft as well as some huge games companies from Scotland. Bud Lucky was there to talk about his characters that he created for several Pixar movies as well as his work in the animation industry. A very nice man. I spoke to his son also.
