I’ve decided I’m going to try and carry a camera pretty much everywhere I go to try and increase the number of photographs i’m taking. My flickr account is looking decidedly empty and that’s not good enough. I year or two back I bought a Sony camera with the intention of taking pictures of all the gigs that I went to but since I’ve not been attending local gig nights with much regularity (almost zero) that idea has promptly flown out the window.

Some ideas I’ve had for taking more pictures is going out on more walks to some of the city parks perhaps even doing some photobiking. The idea for which I got from here. What a perfect way and a great idea to get some really good interesting shots from around the city. The summer is definately upon us so I really have no excuse to get out and about.

I have a wedding tonight so I’ll probably take the camera along with me then. I’ve been browsing flickr a lot recently and there are some outstanding photographers on that site showing off some truely awesome photography. I’d bought my camera with the intention of become fairly skilled with it. It’s just a matter of making time to actually spend some time with the darn thing.
