No Football makes me go CRAZEH!!1one!

Sunday, June 17th, 2007

I’m feeling depressed without football. Watching the under 21s and the Copa America just isn’t helping. I need Premiership and Scottish football. As a result of the end of football season I’ve begun watching other sports that usually I wouldn’t really watch with any real interest however last night I pretty much watched the whole 3rd round of the US Open and today will be watching the US Grand Prix. I watched the Canadian Grand Prix last week and it was possibly the most exciting race I’ve watched in a long time. It was great to see Alonso loose his cool and Hamilton gain his first Formula One victory in his debut season.

Today is the final day of the US Open and I’ll be watching as much of that as possible. Last night was brilliant watching Tiger Woods climb up the leader-board with an exemplary round on how to play golf while the early leaders began to fade away. Tiger is in a prime position to take this Open and make it his fourth US Open victory. His only drop shot yesterday was on the last hole where he was very unlucky to have hit the green from the tee only to see the ball fizz off the fast green into some nasty rough.

Fingers crossed.

UPDATE

I was in the middle of writing this post last night when I fell asleep, however I did manage to catch Real Madrid lifting the La Liga championship, Tiger Woods missing out by 1 shot; Cabrera lifting the US Open trophy and also Lewis Hamilton winning the US Grand Prix, what a great night of sport it was.
