One of the most atmospheric staircases I've ever come across. Was actually sweating when taking these pictures. Best viewed LARGE. Taken at the Glasgow Panopticon. Lone Sailing Boat

From the beach at Luss. Marvelous wee place. A 20 minute bus drive from Balloch takes you straight to Luss for £2.30. Finally managed to get there and it really is a lovely place. We went to the little church too and there was someone in there who I think worked at the church who gave us a historical background. The village really does have some remarkable history.

Lifebelt

It's been a really slow week this week, with little opportunity to get out and shoot. We went out two nights ago for a walk along the Clyde in Glasgow and I thought it would be a good opportunity to use my 50mm 1.8 Canon lens to get some nice warm images since the sun was setting and the sky was a lovely warm colour. I tried to make this uninteresting looking lifebelt more interesting looking. Not sure I managed to do so but I like the softness of it none-the-less. I'm hoping to get out more this week especially with the weather in Scotland being so good lately. I'm also extremely frustrated because I'm not out shooting as much as I'd like to be. Anyway, thanks for looking.

Faslane Sunset

The sun setting over Faslane Naval Base (not pictured). Was quite a challenging location where we had stopped the cars to take shots of the base. There was so much shit lying around as it was a layby and drivers were dumping stuff on the verges. Managed to find a spot on the site of the embankment from where I could catch a good view of the sunset uninterrupted from the trees to the right and the tires lying to the left.
