Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art is a unique event in the cultural calendar. Taking place in the city every other year, the Festival comprises groundbreaking and dynamic presentations in contemporary visual art practice, across a range of exhibitions, public projects, talks, performances and screenings by both local and international artists. 2010 coincides with the 20th anniversary of Glasgow’s reign as European Capital of Culture in 1990 and provides a moment to experience the vibrancy and depth of the city’s art scene at its best.
